Imagine this…

You have a friend. You’ve known them your entire life.

They know everything about you. They know your hopes, your dreams, your aspirations. They know what you like, what you dislike, what makes you happy, and what makes you tick.

They know your wishes.

They know your secrets.

They know everything.

But there’s a twist…

Your ‘friend’ is also the person who’s been holding you back from becoming the person you want to become.

Every time you try something new, they put you down.

Every time you have a great idea, they tell you everything that’s wrong about it.

Every time you try to do anything for your own personal growth and development…

There they are telling you to not even bother.

You’ll never have, do, or be anything more — so why even try? It’s obvious you’re destined for mediocrity forever.

What a great friend you have.

The worst part?

You’ll never get rid of them.

You love this person.

You admire this person.

You weigh every personal decision against their seemingly valued opinion.

No matter how toxic or destructive they act, you have every intention to keep them around forever.

Seems a little insane, don’t you think?

Why would you keep around a friend who treated you this way?

Well, here’s the thing…

For most people, that ‘friend’ you have…

Is actually YOURSELF.

YOU’RE the one who puts you down.

YOU’RE the one who holds you back.

YOU’RE the one who tells yourself to stop and not even bother.

Every day, you relegate yourself to less than you want and less than you deserve.

It’s time to put an end to this.

If you can’t imagine having a friend who would treat you this way… then why do you do it to yourself?

There’s nothing easy about realizing you’re the one who’s been holding you back all this time…

But once you acknowledge that, everything changes.

You’ll gain a new friend.

One who loves you.
One who supports you.
One who wants for you only the best.

And all you had to do was look in the mirror to find them.

Imagine that.

Halt right there!
