Did you know your entire life is a product of the thoughts you hold in your mind most often?

That might come as a surprise to you — but it’s true.

Everything you have.
Everything you are.
Everything you’re going to become.

Your thoughts are the architect of it all.

Now, what you need to understand is that you have two types of thoughts: conscious and unconscious.

Your conscious thoughts are deliberate. They’re directed. They’re organized and aimed at something specific.

When you think to yourself “I want a promotion,” that’s your conscious thinking in action.

Your unconscious thoughts are a bit different.

They’re deeper and below the surface. They’re unintentional and often think themselves. They can also be quite negative and destructive.

When you catch yourself thinking “I don’t deserve that promotion,” that’s your unconscious thinking in action.

And here’s the thing…

Unconscious thoughts trump conscious thinking every time.

Let me say that again.

Unconscious thoughts trump conscious thinking every time.

This is why you can live a completely different life than the one you consciously think about.

If you’re consciously thinking you want a promotion… but your unconscious thoughts tell you you don’t deserve it… you’re going to find ways to self-sabotage getting that promotion.

That’s how the battle works.

So what do you do about this?

How do you get your unconscious thinking on your side?

That, my friend, is a story for another day.

In the meantime, look around you and ask yourself:

“What thoughts — conscious or unconscious — are responsible for the life I live?”

You might be surprised by what you find.

Halt right there!
