5. Are you attracted to your partner?
6. Does your partner feel the same?
7. Do you and your partner have fun?
8. Are you intimate with each other often?
9. Do you support your partner’s dreams?
10. Will you continue supporting them through life’s inevitable changes and challenges?

That should do it for now.

Now let me ask you…

Can you answer each of those questions with a yes?

If you can’t, then you have a marriage chain that’s bound to break. Somewhere along the way, things are going to get rocky.

Why do I bring this up?

Well, today is my 1st wedding anniversary.

My wife and I have a remarkable marriage.

We love each other.
We adore each other.
We’re INFATUATED by each other every day.

We also have our ups and downs like everyone else (though the downs do seem to happen quite rarely).

Marriage is easy. It’s effortless. It’s fun. It’s also passionate, rewarding, and a source of unconditional love and support.

My wife means the world to me.

I mean the world to her.

And every day is another chance for us to express that to each other.

But here’s the thing…

Those 10 questions above? For us, they’re easy to answer. We’re married because we can answer them all with a yes. Not because we settled into something and hoped we’d be able to later.

Those were the prerequisites that got us where we are. And for the rest of my life, I’m committed to keeping it that way. I have no doubt she feels exactly the same.

I want the world for my wife.

I want her to look at me and be proud.

I want her to think she’s the luckiest woman in the world.

I want her to feel safe, supported, loved, cared for, protected, revered, and appreciated.

I want her to know how beautiful she is.

I want her to know how special she is.

I want her to know my heart is hers and hers forever.

Can you say that about your partner?

Can you answer all those questions with a yes?

If you can’t, then it’s time to ask yourself why you got married in the first place.

Marriage doesn’t have to be hard.

In fact, it can be downright easy when you do it right.

But you must check those boxes first.

I mean, why settle for anything less?
