If you struggle getting out of bed in the morning, you need to read this

How important is waking up early to you?

Is it something you’ve tried and failed to do time and time again? Do you set your alarm for an ungodly hour in the morning and then immediately fall back to sleep when your alarm goes off — only to wake up an hour or two later feeling weak and defeated? Like you’ll never master this one simple habit?

I feel your pain.

Personally, I can’t even count the amount of times I’ve fallen short.

When I sit and really think about it, I feel ashamed. I know wholeheartedly it’s a habit that can dramatically impact my life, but I’ve struggled immensely to follow through with it. It’s a real pain in my ass, to be honest.

But I keep trying.

Why?

Because I know that winning my morning is where I can win my day. And if I set it up correctly, I can win the day before most people are even out of bed.

The morning is consistent. It’s reliable. It’s always there ready to work for me. And I suspect that’s true for most people out there — even the ones who feel they’re better equipped to deal with life in the evening.

And though that may be true, I believe the early morning can be the time when minds are refreshed, souls are recharged, and dreams are manifest in reality.

But none of that happens unless you get the fuck outta bed first — so before anything else, we need to learn how to get up and stay up. No hitting snooze. No going back to sleep. No squeezing out ‘just a few more minutes.’ Nada.

And that little ditty, my friend, is what I’ll be covering tomorrow.

Now get some rest — you’re gonna need it.

Halt right there!
