Love it or hate it, this is the best time to wake up and win the day

I feel your pain.

Waking up early is about as fun as rewatching the last episode of Game of Thrones over and over again.

No one wants to torture themselves like that.

Even worse, though?

Waking up at 5 am.

But more and more I’m convinced it’s the best time to start the day.

Most mornings, I roll out of bed feeling as sluggish as a bowl of oatmeal. But I try my best to get the day going anyway.

Why? Simple.

No one else is up to disturb me.

It’s the untouched hour of the day. Sacred, even. It’s the time when I can do things for me. It’s also the time when you can do things for you.

Look at this way:

When you wake up at 5 am, you typically have an hour or two completely to yourself. And if you use this time wisely, it completely transforms your life.

For me, waking up at 5 am means I’m able to:

  • Exercise
  • Meditate
  • Practice feeling gratitude
  • Repeat mantras & affirmations
  • Get ready
  • Read
  • Write
  • Plan & set intentions for the day

And I’m able to do ALL OF THAT before anyone in my home starts stirring.

Crazy, eh?

I’ve won the day before the day even begins.

And you can be a winner, too — so long as you’re willing to rise before the sun.

One last thing…
