PARENTS: You’re Putting Your Children In Harm’s Way
And most of you don’t even know it
I need to get something off my chest.
It’s bothering the heck outta me.
For too long, people have been putting their kids in harm’s way.
And the worst part is that most don’t even know it.
In fact, if you’re a parent to anyone under the age of 13, it’s likely you’re one of them.
So if that sounds like you, you better listen up.
Here’s the deal:
It doesn’t matter for whom or what reason you’re doing it…
It is not okay to plaster pictures of your children all over the internet.
Let me say that again.
It is not okay to plaster pictures of your children all over the internet.
Now, I know there are going to be people — LOTS of people — who want to disagree with this.
“Oh, what’s the harm?”
“Oh, they’re only innocent pictures.”
“Oh, but how will my family and friends ever see how cute they are?”
To tell you the truth, I don’t fucking care.
Your selfish desire for meaningless social recognition is cursing your children for life.
I mean, you may as well hand over their entire identity to perverts and pedophiles on a silver platter.
And before you clap back and say “Woah, calm down Manifest,” you should probably know that it happens ALL THE TIME.
There a people right now scouring the internet for cute pictures of little boys and girls. Then they take those pictures and use them for all sorts of unspeakable things.
They send them to their pervert friends.
They photoshop their faces onto bodies in more ‘suitable’ positions.
And sometimes, when they really like what they see, they even make plans to find your children and take them away forever.
It’s terrifying, I know.
But it’s also true.
So the next time you want to post a picture or a video of your child on the internet because “it’s cute”…
Take a moment to think about what you’re doing.
You might not think anything bad could ever happen to you…
But what loving parent would knowingly take that chance?
You’ve been told what happens around the world EVERY DAY.
Now what are you going to do about it?
