The ‘wood stove’ secret to manifest abundance

Imagine this.

It’s a cold winter morning. You wake up and feel the frigid air on your face. You draw the sheets over your head and lift your legs ever so slightly so you can trap the blanket beneath them, creating a nice seal so no air can enter.

The ol’ Canadian cocoon for the win.

Finally, you muster the courage to get out of bed. You throw the blankets off yourself and dash for the nearest pair of socks. It’s a race against time to get dressed. Otherwise, you might freeze to the floor beneath you.

Thankfully, you did it. You’re fully clothed.

No one will need to thaw you out, after all.

But you’re not done yet.

The house is still cold.

You’re still cold.

So you snuggle up in front of the fireplace and pray for it to warm you up.

Problem is, there’s no wood in the stove — you haven’t put any in yet.

But you continue to sit there and wait for it to give off some heat.

Soon your prayers turn into anger. You curse the stove for not doing its job.

“Gimme some heat, dammit!”

No response.

Still no fire.

Now you’re utterly freezing.

There you are, sitting in front of an empty fireplace, waiting for it to give you some heat, expecting it to warm you up.

But it never does.

If this seems crazy to you, then why do you do something similar every day?

Why do you live your life expecting something from nothing?

Why do you think your hopes and prayers alone will change your circumstances?

Because you’re a good person?

Because you deserve it?

Because all your good karma is finally due and waves of abundance should come crashing your way?

If that’s what you think, then I’ve got news for you:

You’re wrong.

That’s not how it works.

“But… but… the Law of Attraction!”

Sorry, friend — the Law of Attraction isn’t a one-sided affair. It requires you to actually put in some work. It requires you to live up to that which you desire. It doesn’t ever give you something from nothing.

If you want something, you have to make it happen for yourself.

You have to go out and get it.

You have to put in the work day in and day out to make it a reality.

No one else is going to do it for you — and if you expect they will, you’ll soon find yourself disappointed by the outcome.

Don’t be that person.

Don’t expect things to fall in your lap.

Don’t expect heat from an empty stove.

What you end up with in life is that which you worked hard to acquire for yourself. Simple as that.

If you expect something from nothing, your something will be nothing. And you’ll have only yourself to blame.

Do the work.

Put some damn wood in the stove.

Then (and only then) will you get what you’ve been hoping for.

Halt right there!
